On some pre-checks for parts for my huge scale FT-5, I got in a bad mood. The mounting holes in the three components of the Z axis are NOT aligned!
- Y upper panels (FT17/FT18) vs. Bed Plate (FT16)
- Bed Plate vs. Bottom Panel (FT23)
I could not belive it, but after triple-checking, it is obvious: I now know what cost me hours in Z-axis alignment on my first FT-5 build, and I now know that I will have to re-bore some of the melanine parts I plan to use in my build. So - a rant from my side, I'm not looking for advice on this specific topic. And hopefully some valuable info for people who are just getting into their build.

Guys, these parts are LASER cut, how hard can it be?
