What sold me on the Folgertech is for a few reasons,
They are based in the USA
The design is far more robust, lots of torque, not a lot of belt length, almost non-existent ghosting at 100mm/s
Direct extruder, prints TPU like a boss.
After sales care is good and they actually speak English.
The only Asian printer company I will deal with is Qidi, their customer support is amazing and their machines are good, but you pay WAY more for WAY less build area.
I have an Anycubic delta and took 3 months to get the damn thing running due to messed up rods and hotend.
There are mods to get the FT-5 running with a core XY setup, but IMHO the dual Y, single Z and with a larger than factory X stepper, the precision and speed is outstanding.
That said, if you want a FT-5 a full graphic display is a must ($13)
