I have a question about testing the PS.
I had my printer on a curcuit that was probably overloaded, but never tripped the cuircuit so not sure. When the heater bed kicked on, there was a voltage drop on the AC to 118 from 120. A lightbulb that was on close to the printer would flash when the bed came on.
I moved the printer to a fresh curcuit, with only the printer and 2 lightbulbs. When the printer bed kicks on the bulbs do a little flickering.
Is this normal or is this a bad PS? Can any of you test this out for me? I need to check the new circuit voltage when the lights flicker and the bed is on.
But this feels like PS is almost shorting out the input. Even at 360W the AC draw should be less than 5A at 120VAC. This should be no problem to the AC line.
