Just wanted to post here for any of you who might be having trouble with the build.
I found that there were a number of cut errors on the various ACM parts for my kit. Here are my observations. It would be great if any of you can confirm my findings.
- FT23 (base plate) was cut too short by about 1/8" in the Y axis (front-to-back) thus the T-nuts didn't align to slot into the front rail
- FT7 holes were cut too deep, so that the screws bottom out on the rail mount and did not tighten down securely.
- FT11 holes were not cut well, as though the inside coreners were radiused; FT14 had a sloppy jagged cut, thus parts did not fit well together and had to be trimmed.
- Missing various bolts and nuts. Inadequate supply of M3x16, M4x20 and not enough corresponding Nylocks for those bolts were supplied.
You can fill in with replacement parts from Lowe's or HomeDepot for the missing parts, however be aware that they'll be Philips, not Allen.
Just thought I'd pass it along.
