FT-6 initial script issue
During the initial script setup I was offered a printer that I didn't understand and cura setup. Neither of which I was going to use so I skipped these steps as the instruction suggested. I use simplified3D to generate all my slicing. So far after three years of printing this is the best slicer I've ever used.
Issue: When a *.gcode file is uploaded to octoprint a warning pops up saying that the bounding box is out of range for my printer. Simplify3D is set correctly for my machine, but octoprint is set for 200x200x200. A center position of 351 in the X direction would be a violation of that parameter.
I've tried all kinds of ways to activate the original setup script: Logged into the octopi via putty. Put in the user name and password and gained access to the pi.
/etc/firstrundone….. suggested that if this is deleted the script will run again on reboot. For me this is not happening! I can't seem to get the original setup script to restart. I have erased the firstrundone file and verified is was no longer listing. I have hard rebooted the machine at the switch and I have also tried a soft reboot from the putty script after erasing the file. The machine and pi and octoprint skip the start up script every time no matter how it is done.
If anyone can help with this and let me know how to setup the FT-6 size parameters during that initial script setup run than that would be great!
Thanks
Greg
