I've noticed that the extruder on my Folger Tech RepRap 2020 i3 has lost tension over the time I've had it. Has anyone else noticed this? I've fixed the problem a few times by stretching the spring. Should I expect to do so frequently? I'm considering replacing the default extruder with an ultimate greg's wade's extruder since I have one sitting around fully assembled. I was leaving it free to sell, but oh well. I'm also considering designing a direct drive extruder of my own, with a tension screw, to fix the spring memory problem I'm facing. Otherwise, the prints I'm getting off my highly tuned/upgraded 2020 i3 are near perfect SLA quality, and I don't want to mess with success.
