in times of corona, hope everybody feels fine.
I have a FT-6 with a 0.8 nozzle and use it for fast prints to prove my designs. It took some time to build and test the printer, at least the printer was working fine.
2 months ago an error occurred. My start-code include the G28-command. Z and Y are homing separately, but X try to leave the printer (FT-6-homing-fault), like someone else described in this forum. I could not find the reason and avoid the problem by changing the start-code. It worked for 2 months.
But now, after a while, I wanted to refresh UBL. What I didn’t know, the G29-command include first the G28-command. I checked cables, configuration.h, configuration_adv.h and so on, but I could not find a solution.
When the printhead is at X0 and Y0 both LEDs are off. When the printhead is at X10 and Y10 the LEDs are on. So I think, the wires are ok.
What I figured out, if I do a G28 from that position X10 and Y10, it works without any complication. But if I try UBL and the G29-command, some points where double, some points 3 times, first only o**ne side of the bed** till the probe went out of the bed and only turn off could prevent the damage of the printer (FT-6-UBL-fault).
Just anybody an idea?
Thanks, best wishes and stay healthy
