Still taming out the new MK10 nozzle, but so far I really like the Duet board, I send the G-code from my PC and then print them from the machine's internal SD card, so no chance of a data flow drop.
Still amazed with how quiet it is, and IMHO Reprap is easier to configure than Marlin, you have more files, but they are easy to find and organize.
Pid tuning via Duet online control is also easy as pie.
To be honest, I have yet to assemble the touch screen, it's nice, I checked, but I can do everything through my phone (no app required!)
Thing is a better board isn't a silver bullet, while the advanced stepper control limits resonance and improves accuracy, if you cannot extrude and retract perfectly, prints will turn out poorly, fortunately, I think I finally have a winning combination of settings, a faster retract of 70, slower prime of 50 and only a retract of 1.5mm with a prime of 1.6mm and 103% flow seems to be very close.
There is also missed step recovery, but I haven't been able to get it to work yet, if it senses a missed step, it will pause, re-home and resume.
