Agreed. Besides, if you do print higher temp plastics and need the higher temp bed, slap on a 120v silicon heater and a SSR. You are still way below the cost of anything else that is comparable.

I have had good luck with the white bed. But I do run my voltage at 13.8

I run at 14v on all my printers. I have yet to install my white bed. I hope to have no issues with it. Fingers crossed.

Followning the link, you find that ti's $29.99, the same size (300x300mm) and... is white?
Nothing on specs (resisteance, power, thickness, wight... if this heater is bonded to alumimum or not...

I'll be writning back to seak clarifcation.

It is the current bed offered with the kit. White and laminated to an aluminum plate

I just measured mine and its 2.3 ohms.

I keep seeing that people are adjusting the voltage on there power supply. How do you do this?

There is a small pot on the power supply. Adjust it with the same small non conductive screw driver you use to adjust the motor drivers.

And measure while adjusting! I wouldn't go above 14V.

I have heard of at least 1 person maxing out the PSU but over 14v has not been tested long term. YMMV.

I haven't looked yet as I have a print going. But does anyone have a picture or link to this being done. I know Dustin had one for the drivers. I don't like to mess with electrical although I did build the kit.

It's the only adjustment next to the terminals on the PSU. I can't take a picture because I'm at work. Stick a meter on the output and move the adjustment around till you hit 14v.

Sounds like you need a new heated bed. You should check out eBay user 3Dheatbeds. They have a great product with different sizes/configurations & they ship fast.

Not true! The controller is more than capable of supporting a 24v 300watt heated bed.
