I have been away from working on the FT-5 for a couple weeks.
I've just emailed FT about new FT-5 heater beds, and will post my findings when I know more.
Your "White" heater specs seem similar to my older "Red PCB" heater, exempt actually getting it to 72C (BIG CONGRATS!!!)
Marlin: Congrats to you too! It seems we confirmation on the "White Heater" and what it can do.
This is still Well Short of FT speck of "100C to 110C" [Which I read as "Barely making it to 100C, but someone in testing thought they saw 110C, but wasn't able to reproduce it. ].
I"m not sure you could have a 12x12 patch heated to 100C even if you used all the current from the included 12V power supply. This might have to go to mains powered to be able use with ABS, Nylon, PC and other higher temperature filaments.
PS: on an unrelated issue... I'm planing to try an inductive z-probe and do mesh leveling. The stock leving system I've have found impossible to level this print bed as well as I would like. At best getting within 0.5mm from center to edge is unusable for a full plate print.
