Folgertech FT-5 R2 Hotend Specs

Hi Folgertech Forums. I was wondering what the number of watts the heater cartridge uses/needs on the standard Folgertech FT-5 R2. I was going to upgrade the extruder and hot end to an E3D 24V Hemera and wanted to make sure I can put it on the printer and the printer board and Power Supply can handle it. The Heater cartridge on the Hemera has a 30W Heater Cartridge. So, can I connect the heat cartridge wire to the green heater Cartridge adapter on top of the extruder carriage with the heater cartridge cable that comes with the printer going to the printer's circuit board? Or do I need to run the Hemera's heater cartridge all the way to the circuit board on the printer?

a 30 watt 24v heater will draw 1.25 Amps
so i see no issues

30W is pretty standard and the board should be fine either way (some hotends use a 40W, but that's relatively rare I believe, can always compare the resistances)...
seems like you know this already, but the only thing to be sure of is matching the voltages (e.g., don't put a 12V heater on a 24V power supply).
