We have recently finished our build. We did one clean print (not great quality but it did what i asked).
Tried to do a second print and got this error Err: Mintemp at the printer about an hour into the 2nd print.
And in Prontorface..Error:MINTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0
[ERROR] Error:MINTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0
Error:Printer halted. kill() called!
[ERROR] Error:Printer halted. kill() called!
So we bought and replaced the thermistor. Again one print successful. 2nd print, same issue. How are we killing the thermistor?
Does it require a complete shut down in between prints? Cleaning in between? re-calibrating? i didn't do that, i just sent the 2nd print soon after.
The FT-5 is in our basement and its kind of cold, maybe 60-65 degrees. Would that cause a problem?
We have burnt filament backflow between the nozzle and hotend and the on top of the hotend, could that be causing a problem? or maybe a result from the problem?
We could use some help as we are both at a loss. Is this build typically so sensitive that it is working one minute and not the next?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
