Sometimes you can set your endstops mechanically to align with the 0,0 position. But on the FT-5 the X stop is fixed. So the first question would be can your nozzle physically get to the 0,0 position? There are several hot end upgrades I have seen that would not allow the nozzle to get to 0,0 so the bed size is reduced a bit.
If your nozzle is outside the bed range physically and you don't want to adjust endstops, you can put a G92 command in your start Gcode to specify exactly where the nozzle is after home (G28)
