I just finished building and wiring my FT-5 R2, uploaded everything, and it was time to engage Repetier to move the hot end. It wouldn't do anything. Then I get an error message and shutdown due to a heater failure. So I have 4 motors that won't move, and heaters that won't heat, and fans that don't blow. The blinker on the MKS V1.4 blinks, and the LCD printer display works, well enough to display error messages, at least.
So I'm thinking it's some arcane software issue-- everything is wired correctly, etc. So I figure I might get a clue from checking voltages. Where I am supposed to have 24 volts coming out of the power supply, I get none at all. I have 110 AC coming in, though.
Is this conclusive proof that the brand-new power supply must be replaced? Do I have any other options?
