My friend who has two FT-5s running continously for his business is gonna convert his two printers to my CoreXY design with the goal of reducing his print times for his business.
I've updated my repo with the latest changes including the parts for a carbon fiber XY carriage, swapping out the aluminum extrusion for the carbon fiber rod took 150g off the XY carriage over the aluminum extrusion and significantly raised the resonant frequency of vibration in the y axis (as measured with the klipper input shaper/ accelerometer), thereby reducing vibration in the y axis at lower print speeds, making it so the printer can achieve higher speeds - I'm gonna shoot for a 5 minute bency print soon, once I upgrade the motors.
I will soon update my drill jig for the carbon fiber rod with assembly instructions. I'm still kinda poking at the klipper config and will get that posted soon as well.
I'm currently evaluating the Sherpa Mini, vs the Orbiter 2.0 vs the LGX Mini
