So I’ve had my printer up and running for about 3 months now(after having quite a bit of trouble getting it going after the initial build), and it has been running flawlessly, when all of a sudden about an hour into a 6hr print, I heard the printer start making a grinding noise. I hit the emergency stop, and noticed the print had shifted and was running almost half the width of my print to the left(had just started right after the grinding). I cleaned up the mess, visually checked everything:belts pulleys, electrical area, and didn’t see any obvious problems. Every print I’ve tried to run after that, runs fine until it started to try to move right on the x axis, and then it started chattering/grinding(with limited movement in that direction), until it changes to any other direction, but now the prints are off axis, and when it tries to go right it does it again. I can’t figure this out...
So far I’ve disassembled and checked the linear bearings, checked belts/pulleys, checked continuity of wiring for the x motor. I’ve replaced the board and all of the steppers, as well as tried raising and lowering the voltages on the steppers.
